What is the Cosplay Makeup Technique Certification?

As the name implies, this certification measures the technical and knowledge level necessary for becoming a character from manga or anime through cosplay.

Through the Cosplay Makeup Certification,

– Beginners can aim to acquire basic knowledge to enjoy cosplay more fully,

– While those already working as professional makeup artists can aim to acquire more advanced techniques and knowledge that can be used in the field,

all according to their respective goals and levels.

 

The certification consists of three levels of exams, allowing you to choose according to what you wish to do and the level you aim to achieve.

However, to take a higher-level certification exam, you must have passed the previous level’s certification.

A Knight can apply cosplay makeup to themselves, analyzing their own facial features and the character they want to become, and using the appropriate tools and techniques to “transform” at a proficient level.
This level is recommended for those who want to perfect their own cosplay, surprise others, as well as for those aspiring to become professional cosplayers, YouTubers, and more.

Paladin [SR]

A Paladin can apply various types of cosplay makeup to a variety of people.
Understanding the characteristics of the individual’s face and the character, they can use the appropriate tools and techniques to transform someone, much like a “wizard.”
This level is recommended for:
-Those who are already professional makeup artists and want to broaden their career scope.
-Those who want to teach cosplay makeup to others (*).
*Paladin training includes instruction on teaching methods for makeup.
