The World's First Cosplay Skills Certification Organization
At the World Cosplay Art Association, our mission is to share the allure of cosplay globally and support the improvement of cosplay skills.
In February 2022, we launched the world's first "Cosplay Makeup Skills Certification" and the creatively rich textbook "The Spell Book of Cosplay Makeup". This certification and textbook are designed to help cosplayers hone their skills and apply them to their activities and careers.
Furthermore, we are actively promoting the wonders of cosplay through events and workshops.

QUALIFICATIONS and EXAMS
Contents of the Cosplay Makeup Skills Certification
The certification consists of three levels of exams, allowing you to choose based on your goals and desired proficiency. However, to take a higher-level exam, you must first pass the preceding level.

Squire (N)
A Squire has a foundational understanding of cosplay and is well-prepared to enjoy the craft while developing more advanced skills.
02
Knight (R)
A Knight is skilled in applying cosplay makeup to themselves, able to analyze their facial features and transform into their desired character using the right tools and techniques.
It's ideal for those who want to master their own cosplay, impress others, or pursue a career as a professional cosplayer or YouTuber.
03
Paladin (SR)
A Paladin can apply a wide variety of cosplay makeup to different people, transforming them like a "magician" by analyzing facial features and matching the character with the right tools and techniques.
This level is ideal for those already working in makeup who want to expand their skills or those looking to teach cosplay makeup.
*The Paladin course even includes training on how to instruct others in makeup application.

THE SPELL BOOK OF COSPLAY MAKEUP
The Spell Book of Cosplay Makeup is a guide that covers everything from basic to advanced cosplay makeup techniques.
It takes you on a journey through a fantasy world alongside characters Tarou and Hanako, helping you master the essential "magical" skills needed for transformation.
We named it the "Spell Book" because cosplay allows you to become your favorite character, like casting a spell to bring that character to life.
